Uncle Jess' family consisted of 3 sets of twins. It is understood that there were actually six sets, but that three of them died at an early age. Uncle Jess died in a very bizarre accident. It is said that he stopped after he had an accident, in order to exchange information. When he got out of his truck, evidently the brake let loose and rolled backwards and hit him. The truck then proceeded across the road in a circular type of motion and struck him again.
Uncle Jess never made it to our family reunions because he was a Seventh Day Adventist, as was Grama Jones, and felt that this was sacriliage to have the reunions on Saturdays. |
